BARB DESAUTELS – Treating You Like Family

What does family mean to you?  Barb defines family as a life-long relationship that includes commitment, loyalty, honesty, and mutual respect.  As a full-time REALTOR®, Barb believes that her client family deserves a high level of commitment and personal service, treating them as she herself would wish to be treated in making one of the most important financial decisions of their life: whether to buy or sell a home.    

At an early age, Barb recognized her love of real estate and the benefits that home ownership provides.  She states, “I believe that all Canadians should have the opportunity to own their own home, as it allows them to have the financial freedom they need and deserve.”  This determination, in combination with her genuine enjoyment of working with people, has allowed Barb to realize her dream of being a REALTOR® since 2001.  

Barb has a vast knowledge of real estate.  In addition to her REALTOR® education and ongoing training upgrades, Barb is a home owner as well as a real estate investor.  With this level of expertise, she can effectively advise her clients on the many aspects of real estate ownership and negotiate skilfully and confidently on their behalf.   

Barb exemplifies her commitment to strong family values through various charities and volunteerism.  She is a monthly supporter of Calgary Real Estate Board’s ‘Home at Last’ charitable foundation, and has donated both time and money to non-profit housing initiatives, helping to ensure that families and children less fortunate also have a place to call home.  Barb personifies a positive outlook in all facets of her life; her personality is warm, bubbly, friendly, and cheerful.  When the time comes for you to buy or sell your home, be sure to give Barb Desautels a call – you’ll be glad you did!
